Clean restaurant and friendly staff. Coffee came quickly as did our food. No complaints! Tasty and plenty of options for the vegetarian and meat eater alike.

Went here for a late breakfast with the family. The omelette was OK, but nothing to brag about. It satisfied my hunger, but offered very little else. I did, however, really like the rye toast. Probably one of the best rye breads I've had in a while. The service staff were pleasant and professional, but the food took a while to make. I thought the prices were a tad high for the so-so quality of the food. Overall, a decent place--but not really worth going out of your way for. I would prefer a good coney island over this restaurant.

I've tried this place a few times in hopes that my first few bad experiences were just a fluke. Nope. My third visit will be the last. My friend and I sat down for lunch around noon. We had to ask numerous times for a waiter to come and take our order. My friend ordered soup, and we had to ask for the waiter to bring it four times... he still didn't. About 45 minutes after ordering, the waiter came back and told me that they didn't have turkey for the turkey wrap I ordered. When I asked if they could sub with chicken, he said they didn't have that either... all they had was ham. I don't even like ham, but I said that was fine just so I could eat and get out of there. When I asked to see the manager, he apologized by saying that there had been a rush of customers. Uh... yes, it's lunch time. He then asked me if I'd like a coupon for a future meal, and I told him I didn't plan on returning. I'm honestly surprised this place is still open.

Right near my house. Service has been fast and friendly every time we go. I like how they give you a carafe of coffee to sit on the table so you don't have to ask/wait for refills. The pancakes are HUGE. Seriously, I couldn't finish one of them. Everything is pretty standard breakfast fair. They have some items that look interesting, but I usually stick to the basics for bfast. I'll definitely be back!

Yummy! Had birthday French Toast w/blueberries today!

I only went once when it first opened. I thought the prices were rather high for a very mediocre breakfast. I had eggs, sausage and toast. It was just okay - you can do just as well at a coney island for less money. I have never been back.

  • John H.

Mediocre, at best. With the exception of the toast, everything tasted very bland and frozen. The blueberries in the yogurt and on the pancakes were tasteless and watery, a sure sign in my book. Their signature potatoes were barely cooked; it took tremendous effort just to find one that appeared to have been browned. About the only good thing I could say is that our waiter was exceptionally polite. Will not be back.

I had lunch here today. Unlike some earlier reviews, we found it to be clean. The food was flavorful and properly cooked. I was particularly impressed with the Harvest Benny. It was an unusual dish that could easily be ruined (how many strip mall joints can properly poach an egg?} but it was just right. It had FRESH spinach (another budget rarity) and just the right amount of a surprisingly good hollandaise sauce. I would also recommend the turkey sausage. They automatically placed us in a booth near the door for my sister who was using a walker. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly. My only qualification is that this is not a fast food place, so schedule accordingly.,

Tried this place at least four times since it opened, and something has changed for the worse. Food seemed a lot better quality early on. Atmosphere is certainly pleasant; very pretty and calming. The servers have been very nice. Last month I had a lousy breakfast, though. Scrambled eggs were dry. I treated myself to a biscuit, and it was completely tasteless--not sure how they did that! Serving of fruit was extremely small, and that has been consistent. Coffee has been very good. I really want to like this place. Get on the ball, managers! I`m willing to give it another try. Well, we gave it another try in early May of 2012. I agree with another Yelper--great ambiance but food is just mediocre. So pleasant in here, I really want to love my food! Management, please try to make improvements--check out other places in the area, and match 'em!

Avoid this place there are much better for breakfast. I tried this place for the 2nd time. I couldn't write a review for the first time I was there because I left. When this breakfast place opened I was really excited and we went in and the place was filthy. The silverware was all dirty and the glasses. Today I gave them another chance and I have to say it is terrible food. The server was very nice but not good. I ordered banana nut pancakes and a side order of scrambled eggs and coffee. The pancakes came and was a huge serving but the taste was so bad it was doughy even though well done and the it was a terrible taste. The eggs were good but when I told the waiter the pancakes were no good he said he would take it off the bill. He did not ask me if I wanted something else like toast or hash browns or anything to go with my eggs and went and had the manager take it off the bill. The manager did not bother to come over and do anything either. I thought this was very poor display of doing business. Glad I don't own the joint. Do yourself a favor and have a better breakfast at the many coney islands down the street. Sheila F.

really nasty! waited forever for a table while many dirty uncleared tables sat around, food was very disappointing and not good at all, thsi place is sure to fold like so many others have in the same location

My family and I ate at Scrambler Marie's on Sunday, September 15. We walked in and were brusquely asked, "what was your name?" by the host as a way to get on the waiting list. While our party was somewhat larger than average, we were shown to 2 large booths in under 5 minutes. That's where the good service ended. Our server did not show his face at our tables for more than 20 minutes, and instead of introducing himself or apologizing for the wait he immediately demanded our orders. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive, despite many promises of our order coming right up. At one point we asked for another carafe of coffee, and were rudely told that we would get it when the table behind us got theirs, because they already had their food but hadn't been served coffee yet. How was that our fault? We just wanted some more caffeine while we waited. When the food did arrive, some of it was hot, most of it was not, and there was a dead bug smack dab in the center of my brother-in-law's food. When we (finally) got to talk to the manager instead of apologizing he made excuses, stating that all restaurants have those bugs, you just don't normally see them. What?! However, he did comp the bug-infested meal and took a percentage off the rest of our bill, which was very appreciated. All that to say, the food was decent. I've had better, but I've certainly had worse. I understand that Sunday morning is a busy time for most breakfast restaurants, but you think they also would understand that and would staff accordingly. We are in the area many times a year, but will definitely not be eating here again.

The other reviewers are spot on with their summary of Scrambler Marie's. Service is good. Dining area is clean. Staff is friendly. Prices are decent. Portions are good. But the food...the food is the least consistent thing about this place. I've been here a handful of times, and I feel like I'm either 1) satisfied or 2) satisfied with one thing & not the other. And what I'm satisfied with on one visit, I might find myself dissatisfied with it on the next. Here's some perfect examples - salsa was horrible on prior visit, but good on recent visit. Potatoes were awesome on prior visit, but inedible on recent visit. Kinda frustrating...you never know what you're gonna get. Stopped in with my Dad after church this week. When we left he told me "I'm not going back there again." I can't say I blame him. I have a BOGO coupon sitting in my email now, and I can't decide if I should save it or delete it...not sure I wanna go back. Pros: Awesome Avocado omelette was good. Salsa was good (for a change). Carafe of coffee & water on the table. Apple Butter for my toast. Cons: The potato chunks - which are usually delicious - were inedible. They tasted like...gas. Like lighter fluid...or the fluid you use to like a charcoal grill - I'm having a brainfart at the moment & can't remember what that stuff is called. There's a lot of pros...but that con...what's that about??? How does their food taste like that??? And it wasn't just me, my dad said his potatoes tasted the same way. I've never been to a restaurant and had my food taste like that before. Wonder if anyone else has ever had that same complaint. Weird.

Last year or so 8 of us went here for lunch and every one of us had our credit card info stolen. I cant say for sure it was because of this place but it is a weird coincidence. Ive heard rumors from other people that this place is known for stealing credit card info. I have no idea for sure if this place stole the numbers but I will never risk going again. Their food is not that great so it is easy to never go here again.

Clean dining room, decent food with good presentation, waitress pleasant, prices so so but I had a coupon, liked the carafe of coffee left on the table. Negatives: dining room was clean and uncluttered but kind of barren, uninteresting and quiet. This may be what you are looking for but for breakfast I like a little more action, community and liveliness. I checked out the menu before coming and decided to come for the seafood benedict. According to the waitress, the seafood was still frozen (at noon), so a little disappointed.

We had always wanted to visit this restaurant as we are breakfast people. The interior was nice, modern. The food was tasty but cold. A cold waffle, not so good. I had the corned beef hash though tasty the portion was so small the two eggs overlapped the small portion of hash. I asked for a piece of French toast instead of the selections offered. Once very thin slice of French toast. The service was deplorable . It was obvious the server didn't care one bit for her job. Again, the food was cold ....she showed up 15 minutes after we had been served the food to see if everything was alright. We had waited so long for the food delivery we just ate since we were hungry to wait for the server to reappear. By the way my wife ordered the endless waffle ...the server didn't bother to ask if my wife cared for another . We gave two stars for a mercy it should have been 1.

We came with a large group (15 guys) and I called about 15 minutes ahead of time, with an employee assuring that they could accommodate. When we arrived, they said they would seat us in the more secluded section immediately to your left as you walk in, and that it would be "just a moment, we need to wait for 1 table to clear out in there". (Which was great, because we were not the quietest bunch) After a couple minutes of waiting (no big deal) a man and woman walk in and were promptly seated in the exact same room we were waiting for! Change of plans I guess! So NOW, they decide to cram 4 tables together and seat us in the open spaces with the other families. (OK, if that's what you really want!) The service was great once we sat down; the only other issue we encountered was a plate of cold potatoes. They brought out new ones and took it off the bill since they were ordered on the side. It was a bachelor party; the morning after. So there was noise, eruptions of laughter, and a few inappropriate swear words. I hope we didn't offend anyone there, but the whole situation could have been avoided with some simple communication and common sense from the staff. I'll be back, but it was a swing and a miss this time around.

High quality food and clean. Totally unique breakfast menu. Gourmet coffee. This is NOT your grandpa's breakfast diner!

Egg-excellent! The food is fresh. The servers become family. What a wonderful place to have in the neighborhood! The omelets are made with three eggs and have a variety of fillings. The French toast is delicious and go ahead and give the pancakes a try. They are endless! Eat all you can.

They have everything you could want on their breakfast menu even if your trying to stay on the healthy route! It was good but a little expensive for me. I think this place will become one of those "special occasion" restaurants!

Always happy. Sundays usually some waiting. If longer than fifteen minutes I go for someplace else. Good outside light if you ask window table. Usually have breakfast but some people in my party had lunch and were happy. I am trying lunch for the first today

My wife and I went there on a Friday morning when it was busy but no waiting. The service was prompt and friendly. The food we ordered came quickly enough and cooked properly. We understood from an employee that they recently improved their management. Being out of towners We will return when we get the chance.

The front end people are disorganized, to say the least. The kitchen messed up the toast. Our server, Bill, was the bright spot!! He was attentive, and very professional.

The chicken noodle soup was solid, but the container was questionable and the service was just OK. Great location and great menu though

This is my fourth time coming to this location. Our first visit was wonderful -- they had unlimited pancake options, value was great for the price, and our service was good too. We couldn't wait to come back next weekend. On our second visit (literally the next weekend!), we couldn't believe we were in the same restaurant. Service was awful, it took forever to place and receive our order; however, the food was still good. There was also an issue with our bill, which took 3 different employees to solve. We decided to come back once more since we had 50-50 satisfaction. Our third experience mimicked our second, and we vowed to never return. Fast forward 1 year, and I'm craving their banana nut pancakes. Should we go back? My husband and I debate it for way too long (that should have been our answer!) but we decide to give it one more try. Horrible service once again, and this time the food wasn't even that great either. Sorry to say, but don't waste your time. If you're in the area and craving a delicious breakfast, give Breakfast Club a try! A bit pricy, but definitely worth it!

Tried this place the other day for the first time. I ordered the steak and eggs. I was impressed with the carafe of water they brought to the table. I drink a lot of water at meal time and always seam to have to chase down the wait staff to refill my glass so this was a nice surprise. They told me they were out of hash browns but then came back and said they had some so no big deal breaker there. The rye toast was great. The steak was so thin that it was a bit over cooked for my taste. I ordered it medium it was definitely medium well to well. The waitress was so busy at the front counter(talking to her co workers) that by the time she got around to asking if everything was ok , I was finished eating so said ok and just asked for my bill. All in all not a bad place , a bit pricy, It seamed to me they were trying to be a bit more upscale than what I witnessed. May be back may not...nothing made me want to rush back soon though.

Scrambled isn't always the best! If you are looking for a nice, Great tasting, excellent service filled, inexpensive breakfast; keep looking. My wife and I have been here several times and we really like the place. However, the last few times we've been there we've gotten really crummy service. It also seems like the prices are going up but the quality of food has deteriorated. I wish scrammblers would've kept the same consistent quality of food, prices and service. If you do find yourself dining here, I recommend the egg white omelette with the turkey Sausage. My wife would recommend the endless (all you can eat) waffle.

  • Lynn H.

We've been here a few times now, and Scrambler Marie's serves a good breakfast. All of the typical breakfast dishes are served, competently prepared, nice sized portions. That earns Scrambler Marie's three stars. They earn their fourth star for two reasons: 1. If you order coffee, it arrives in a carafe that stays on your table! 2. The selection of bread is outstanding. Service is attentive, and there's always the possibility that your breakfast will come on the "blue plate" and be free!

Just had a bad experience. Love the wifi, the cleanliness and the service. Ordered oatmeal this morning. Came from a packet (instant oatmeal, really?) and looked more like oatmeal soup. Tasted horrible. Told the waitress and she seemed apologetic then shrugged her shoulders. Here is a tip. Go to the Sunrise Cafe up the street less than a mile. No wifi, but a far far better breakfast.

Not impressed. We drove from Royal Oak to the Farmington Hills location. I had my family & in-laws with me and we arrived before 9am. The place was not busy. There were no one to greet us. We paced around for 5 minutes. Then I took the kids to the toilet. I came back after 10 minutes my party wasn't seated yet. We waited again for another 5-10 minutes when our greeter finally surfaced and told us up wait again while she set up the table. Not acceptable. Just seat us already! It wasn't busy and the place was fairly empty. I couldn't imagine if we had arrived at a peak time. Food was ok and our server was sweet. I wouldn't consider going again.

Been here several times and the service has always been awful. Takes way too long for the food to come out, and without fail they always forget items. Foods alright, nothing exciting.

If i could leave no stars i would. Horrible! Should have listened to the reviews. Don't waste your time here. Bad serves. Bad food. Manager was rude. Didn't want to fix our problems. I won't make this mistake again. Ever! And we made sure to let the manager know how we felt. Bad place. I'm just now leaving your restaurant on Orchard lake. I had the worst services I have ever had in my life. The waiter did not get our group order right at all. Food was sent back only to receive it back, undercooked. When the manager came to the table he tried to explain it away by blaming the vegetables, that I asked to be removed in the first place, for the food looking undercooked. We asked it to be taking back and just removed from the bill. Part of our group ordered more bottomless pancakes for the person who ended up with no food at all since it was undercooked. The manager came over to scold our table for sharing food. He informed us we were not allowed to share or food off the bottomless menu. Then he informed us he paid for the food that we asked to be removed from the bill. First, i think its rude to tell customers you payubg fir something that was cooked wrong in the first place. Secondly, the manager wasn't dressed like a manager. He was dressed more like a homeless man. I didn't know he was a manager until I asked for one to c OK me to the table. I'm never returning to this location. It was bad. I went to the one in Ohio and it was great!

For the price you can get a decent breakfast. Service was great and the fruits are very fresh and tasty! I had the Lean and Green omelet.

The food is alright. It isn't world renoun or anything, but it's alright. I've had breakfast and lunch, again nothing spectacular. The service is really slow. It is like watching paint dry. And the water tastes strange. I think it is the lemons...but I'm not sure. If you are meeting your mom for lunch, need to find something that is right off of 696, and she doesn't like anything other than American food (and hates Ruby Tuesday's), it'll do.

Big disappointment. Should have listened to the reviews. Took forever to get greeted. You can get regular hash browns as your potato choice or "potato chunks" described on the menu as "Our famous skin-on chunk lightly seasoned with our secret spice." What a joke! They are frozen, skinless, season- less, flavorless, potato squares. Seriously. Square french fries. The sausage patties are turkey sausage. Good if you like turkey sausage, disgusting if you don't. They brought our food minus the cold plate I asked for my kid, the side of sausage gravy I ordered for the "famous" potato chunks, and no syrup for the pancakes. I dislike having to sit and wait to eat my food right in front of me. It's a breakfast place. If syrup isn't on the table already, bring it with the pancakes. What made me mad about it though was when I asked the girl who brought my food for the gravy, plate and syrup she forget, instead of getting it, she left my table and went to the computer. Clearly customer service wasn't her concern. Also, a couple was being seated by the hostess and as she was walking them to a table, they asked to sit at a specific table that was clean and available. She told them no because the section was cut. So what?! Sit them there, and tell the waitress in the section that isn't cut to take care of them. That simple. Please your customers. We are staying in the hotel across the street and have been eating out 3 meals a day all week. The other day we tried Sunrise Cafe literally 1 mile down the road. MUCH BETTER! Better food and excellent service. Go there. Trust me.

I've been to Scrambler Marie's numerous times. The first couple times, it was in Ohio and it was very good, so I was excited when they opened not too far from my house. They are very friendly and welcoming. Coffee comes quickly, and as others have said, it comes in a carafe & stays on the table. They also have flavored creamer on the table. In addition, they always have 1 flavored coffee as a choice. They do offer unlimited pancakes, waffles and French toast, although I can't make it through a single order. Their banana pancakes are HUGE -- the size of a dinner plate -- and they are very good. And they will give a smaller portion of anything they offer at a reduced price. That said, the rest of the food is average. I have tried very hard to like it more than I do because I like the staff and the ambiance. But it's just not that good. I was there recently and the hash browns were obviously packaged, not cooked enough and way too salty. I actually sent them back. (Well, had them replaced.) The waitress insisted that they don't add salt but also commented that other people had complained about the same thing. She brought me more (which were more undercooked than the original ones) and they were also salty. I will say that they are good about preparing eggs to order; I like my eggs very dry and what chefs would call overcooked, and they made them just right for me -- something I don't find very often. On my last visit -- the 7th -- I did fill up my frequent diner card & got a free meal (& ordered pancakes to go that I paid for), but I'm not sure it's really worth going back again. Zoe's House of Pancakes, which is just a couple miles down the street, is far superior.

I went to Scrambler Marie's for the first time yesterday. I have seen it for a long time and decided to finally try the place. I was greeted promptly and seated promptly. The place was clean and at the time I went, there were not very many patrons. After looking at the menu I asked the wait staff what they could recommend. There were no recommendations. I was not even told that everything was good. I have been wanting an omelette so I ordered the omelette with spinach and bacon omelette also with Swiss cheese and sprinkled with diced tomatoes. I had previously frozen hash browns and a sad example of an English muffin. The portions were large. I, personally would like to have food that tastes good than too much to eat of disappointing food. The omelette was hard a the edges. It was very firm throughout and I don't know how they did it but the bacon was tasteless. I was almost tempted to add hot sauce for just a little flavor bur resisted. I was able to taste the packaged strawberry jam the I put on the English muffin. I don't think there was any seasoning on the meal. I won't go back. They got the three star for service and cleanliness.

Breakfast can be the only escape when the dreaded "team bonding" moment comes around at work. Inevitably we meet somewhere at the ruddy crack of dawn at a breakfast restaurant, shuffling in like zombies, except for our department version of Ned Flanders. I barely function before 8AM at the best of time and no amount of maple syrup, spinach frittata or rye toast makes me stellar. Scrambler Marie's tries to turn the dreadful suffering of morning into a cheerful experience, putting an omelet bandaid over a gaping lack of sleep. Their broad menu covers all the breakfast favourites Americans know and love: fluffy pancakes and waffles smothered in the fruit aisle of a grocery store, veggies snuck into omelets, oozing meat fried up in syrup, and a few other odds and ends. I leave major decision making until after I've devoured the offspring of a chicken or a hapless pig, so all this choice actually gets a bit overwhelming. Add to that a variety of special breakfast deals and it's damn near impossible to find what my stomach wants when it's still dreaming of washboard abs and a Keg prime rib dinner. Omelets done at Scrambler Marie's are good, solid fare. Adding a side of salsa or extras like spinach and peppers is fine, though there's a modest upcharge depending on the option. Eggs were fluffy and the veggie contents snug inside that blanket a little bit overdone, but perfectly serviceable. Our waitress serving a party of 10 had trouble keeping up with the orders due to some issue in the kitchen; two people didn't get served right away, but she supplied them with toast and jam. She was slow for drink refills, and I eventually asked for a pot of hot water instead of her replenishing my tea cup every so often. Service was leisurely at 6:toodamnearly in the morning. The Yelp! check-in benefit I got at the time allowed for a free cup of coffee and something else, which I transferred to my coworker without a fuss. Prices here are in line with most other breakfast places in the area, and the restaurant is big enough for even a group our size not to feel like it was piled up atop others. I'm sure they appreciated being spared the engineering jokes of my peers. The food filled me up and parking is easy, provided you can actually escape the Twelve Mile congestion zone during the height of morning rush hour. A good choice for breakfast in Farmington Hills, Scrambler Marie's offers big portions at fair prices and a lot of selection. Definitely family and elderly friendly.

Pretty good breakfast food with a large selection. I had a spinach and mushroom egg white omelet. The fillings tasted very fresh although the egg whites were a little rubbery. That's what I get for trying to be healthy! The hash browns were just okay. My daughter got the skin-on breakfast potatoes which were very tasty. There are 4 bread choices and they have Smucker's apple butter in addition to the usual jellies. You get a whole personal carafe of coffee or water which is great. The menu is huge so I am looking forward to trying something new. Don't mention you have never been here before or you will get an annoying three minute menu presentation! This is a chain restaurant but it is new to our area. Great value, I hope they stick around.

Grade A all the way!!! I went there for brunch and endless coffee. I am a healthy eater and I love that they had an option for an Egg white omelette with Turkey sausage. That turkey sausage was sooo good!!! I highly recommend this place. The plates are enormous!!! :)

My first clue should have been when I walked in to a breakfast place at 7 AM and it's empty. This is supposed to be a breakfast place. You'd at least think they could make an omelet. I ordered a spinach feta cheese omelet with tomato and onion. They delivered it in about 2 minutes. It was about half the size of your typical omelet. There was nothing inside the omelet!..Everything thing was tossed on top! As a result the few tiny pieces of feta they did include did not melt. Most surprisingly was that the spinach was not chopped. I had a single droopy leaf laid on top. The egg was watery. Price was high as well I thought.

Awful. Flat, rubbery omelet that had minimal cheese and fillings. Tepid hash browns that looked like they were prepared a few days prior. Absolutely nothing positive to say. Even the "mild sourdough" toast was sub-par. Next time Sunrise Cafe happens to be closed, I'll just go home.

All the fuss over their food, but they serve pancakes with FAKE SYRUP! What a profound disappointment. Their "syrup" is Mrs Buttersworth. What do you expect from an outfit started by a proud owner of multiple Wendy's. Their website is devoted to selling you a franchise. What does that tell you? Oh, and their kitchen has a microwave, and they use it to heat their biscuits (which are NOT made on site from scratch) and their english muffins. My English muffin rather than toasted had obviously been microwaved. I asked and and least got an honest answer. Coffee: Not even up to the low standard of Starbucks. What is the point? Good side: The hollandaise sauce seemed to be made on site, but all the other violations of food integrity, questions remain. This place is strictly for people with ordinary tastes and standards in the realm of food.

Was promptly greeted by a host dressed as a chef , gave us a super nice table by the window & sunshine, Nick arrived on the scene with a carafe of lemon water & 2 glasses The selections were great & varied My pal DOn ordered the mini classic $4.99 it was perfect 2 eggs any style, 2 strips of bacon & stack of silver dollar pancakes that were cooked to golden perfection. I ordered 2 egg beaters scrambled & a cup or fruit, and it was my first time ever ordering 'Egg Beaters' , they needed some pepper & Franks Louisiana Red Hot Sauce $2.25 [ & no up charge for egg beaters ] also note worthy is they have a 'FREE' yelp check in item and it is within walking distance from the Holocaust Museum

Solid breakfast choice in Farmington Hills. We visited this restaurant during our annual holiday visit to Michigan. The restaurant is very bright and cheery. The food quality is solid. I ordered the eggs with bacon and hash browns which came with pancakes. My dining partner ordered the corn beef hash. We both enjoyed the food. Food was solid. Prices were reasonable. Coffee is too weak for my taste but I find that coffee in Michigan to be too weak. Service was friendly and attentive. When we return to Michigan, we will be sure to come here for breakfast.

Good food, reasonable prices, and efficient service. My only complaint is the noise. Unless you are eating with loud children yourself, you'll probably get a headache. I'll most likely return - when it doesn't sound like a playground in here. :/

My wife loves the food from there. I swung by this time today to actually sit down and eat. I ordered the "Eye Opener" from the Brunch part of the menu. Which is a side dish of scrambled eggs, onion, bacon, tomato, mushroom and spinach with cheese. I opted for no cheese. It also comes with a side and a bread. I opted for the potato chunks and the honey wheat toast. Its $5.99. I also opted for the special Coffee of the day which was a Jamaican blend - it was very tasty - reminded me of a caramel nut flavor. Overall the breakfast was tasty - at first glance the portion size seemed small. However after filling up on the potatoes and couple slices of the honey wheat toast I was actually full. My one issue is the egg scramble had Raw onions in it. I don't mind onions but Raw onions are a bit much for my palate and stomach. It would of been better if the onions had been sauteed. And the spinach was sparse. There was maybe only 1 or 2 leafs in the mix. the service was very good. I actually loved sitting down there to eat. the decor was warm and inviting and the booths are large enough to lay down and take a nap in. Was slightly curious though there were several workers just standing around chatting. It was not busy by any means, however it would be better if they were doing something instead of standing at the front of the eatery chatting. It could have just been a lull and some were taking a break. 4 star breakfast. Server did a good job. Scrambler Marie's is on their way to being a hit in Metro Detroit. one of the workers, I assume was a manager, told me that they are opening 4 more Marie's around Metro Detroit this year. Apparently the chain is native to Ohio.

Stopped in to have some breakfast for lunch. It was a weekday so it wasn't overly but with the wait time we had you would have thought we caught the Sunday Church rush. I was waiting on the hubby to show up so I told them we didn't need to be seated right away. When he arrived a couple minutes later we waited at the podium for several minutes before we were seated. After being seated we got ourselves familiar with the menu and eventually ordered. Food seemed to take some time to come out. We didn't order anything complicated, just an omelette, sandwich and a salad and a kiddo plate. At least the kiddo was in good spirits and was able to hang in for our hour and a half lunch. Although our lunch ran late the staff was nice and the food was better than I expected. If we make it back we will be prepared for a long outing.

Our favorite Sunday breakfast joint. Pancakes as big as your head, I like the Eye Opener. Service is always super friendly. Recommend the little potato chunks

I've been here 3 times. The second time there was lipstick on the coffee cup they gave me. After not going back for a while, I decided to give them a second try... The third and most recent time I was there I found some piece of string cooked into my scrambled eggs. This place is dirty. I won't be going back.
